Online tools closing on Friday June 4!

Have you filled out the plan's survey yet? Drawn your ideal route on the Wikimap? If not, you may want to head to the tools soon, because they will be closing on June 4 so we can begin to analyze responses to orient the plan's recommendations.

If you'd like to help us get to 1,000 participants (we're close to reaching our goal for connecting with Chaska residents!) please invite your friends to offer their ideas and comments for the future of walking and biking in Chaska. Thank you!!!

Work on the new plan has started!

Work on the City of Chaska Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan has begun! A Request for Proposal process was completed and a consultant has been selected and hired.

The project is funded by a generous grant from Carver County Public Health and the Minnesota Statewide Health Improvement Partnership.

Twin Cities firm Community Design Group (CDG), with subconsultant WSB Engineering (WSB), will work closely with City staff and residents to develop the plan.

The Consultant Team will work with the newly-assembled Project Steering Committee (PSC) and City Staff to develop an initial inventory of existing walk / bike assets in the City, engage Chaska residents in providing guidance to the plan, and prepare recommendations for improving walking and biking in the City.
